The kit assemblies begin after the foundation and floor are completed. The 22’ assembly process consists of stacking the panels in place, overlapping and locking the steel mesh of adjacent panels and filling the seams with special formulated concrete. Finish the wall board seams with cement/perlite mixture. This process produces the structural components, completes the finished exterior surface, installs the insulation and all the interior shell wallboard. The concrete applied to the Pod and the concrete that is applied to the 22’ dome’s seams and entryways is sponge finished to match the pre-finished texture of the 22’ prefab panels. On site, the concrete is primed with concrete primer and then painted with two coats of satin latex house paint to achieve the color you desire. Assemble the Pod’s EPS panels by rows, attaching them to your prepared foundation and to one another with nails and adhesive. Coat the entire exterior with a 1/4" layer of concrete (1/2” concrete if you strengthen the pod with ¼”x ¼” mesh & #8 wire), then paint with concrete primer and Latex paint.
